What is the dress?
Old fashioned or semi-formal dress is suggested, but no dress code is required. Just come ready to move!
What sort of dances will we do?
Classic folk dances, some of which came out of the Scottish Highlands, came across the sea to be loved by Americans centuries ago: Traditional couples waltz, The Virginia Reel, Hunting the Fox, Mariposa, Flying Scotsman, Alabama Gal, etc.
With Whom Will I Dance?
Daddies should dotingly dance with their daughters. Sons should dance with their mothers. Friends should dance with friends. Dance partners are generally established per dance. Some dances are "progressive" where partners change each round. Other dances keep the same partner throughout.
